Vintage Rare Bergamot Brass Alice in Wonderland Cards Belt Buckle. Rare and highly collectible. Pewter plated belt buckle from Bergamot Brass Works of Delavan, Wisconsin. Bergamot buckles are noted for the attention to detail on the front and back of each buckle. Wonderful artistic detailed depiction of Alice in Wonderland with deck of cards.
Original owner was VP and general manager for Bergamot Brass Works in the 1970s. During that time, he collected one of every new buckle produced by the company. He has recently decided to liquidate his collection. This buckle is totally un-circulated. It was pulled out the boxes it had been been stored for 30 years!

Marked: Back side has quote from the Lewis Carroll book: “Who cares for you?” said Alice -She had grown to her full size by this time- “Your nothing but a pack of cards.” Back is also marked Bergamot Brass Works 1974, F-72, with logo.
