x SOLD Early Vintage Hermes Suede Gold Clutch Purse

Rare 1940’s Vintage Hermes Suede Leather 18K Gold Clutch. Features include charcoal suede leather material, 18K gold detailing around corners, gold snap buttons at bottom sides, two pocket departments, one zipper pocket with a zipper marked “Éclair”. Clutch/ wallet is in near mint condition. Label reads “Hermes Paris”, both gold corners pieces are marked “Hermes”, with an “H” handbag symbol and the pre-1961 French Fine Gold symbol. Rare early Hermes, circa 1940’s, is said to have been brought back from WWII France by a US GI for his sweetheart. So classic and chic, excellent quality suede leather, clean lines. A great addition to any collection.
